NEW PATTERN: Bravo Indigo Quilt

My newest pattern Bravo Indigo is available in my Payhip store here. In the single purchase you will receive both the Throw size (81in x 68in) and Queen size (117in x 98.5in).
If you decide to make it, use the hashtag on Instagram #bravoindigoquilt to show others what you're doing with the pattern and to see inspiration from others.

Here are a few glamour shots of the quilt before it was sent off to Michael Miller Fabrics and displayed at Quilt Market

I can't wait to see your creations and personal approaches to this quilt.
Enjoy!
Caroline

  2. This quilt is stunning and incredible. It reminds me of the collection Four Corners from Simple Simon and Company. I just saw this collection on this website Patternjam.com It is awesome! You can custom create your own quilt by choosing size of block, sashing, borders, and what type of blocks or customize patterns they already have on their site. You can choose from the material on their site or upload your own. It's so cool. Once you are done creating your quilt it will tell you how much fabric you need of each material as well. Just had to share.

  4. Beautifully modern! The pattern seems to have been removed from Michael Miller's page. The only thing showing up are the fabrics you used and a picture of the quilt. Is this pattern available anywhere else and/or for sale?

    Thanks for sharing your talents!

    1. You're not alone, Rochelle. I can see the quilt, and the colours - but no instructions, no matter what I do!

  9. Made this quilt. Easier than I thought, but yardage does not include binding, FYI. It really is beautiful and would be pretty in other color combos as well.

  10. I started this quilt, but on page 4 I find a discrepancy in Instructions for Block 1. It says to cut a 5" and a 3" triangle of color C. Yet step 3 uses a 2 1/2" square of color C over the triangle of color B.

The cutting instructions on page 3 call for cutting 2 1/2" squares of color C. I don't find any cutting instructions for 3" squares.

Can someone who has made this pattern please clarify this for me?

  11. Maybe I answered my own question...When a 3" triangle is as for Block 1, is that referring to the long edge of a 2 1/2 half square triangle?

  14. I like the pattern but I can't tell if it would work for the project I'm thinking about doing because I can't see the full quilt in the photo. Looking at the center "medallion" is it actually in the center with one repeat of the design above it and one below? The top as it shows in the photo looks like the top and maybe also the bottom center "medallion" is not the full medallipn like in the middle. Also are the finished half square triangles 4 1/2 inches?

  15. Hi Caroline, I bought the pattern in your craftsy.com shop for 8 something Euro. An hour later I found it for free on another page. I find it not acceptable, that a pattern that can be bought is also in the internet for free. I am disappointed about that. Still with kind regards. Antje

  16. Thank you so much for this pattern! It was perfect for my daughters birthday gift. I used purple instead of the gold...her favourite colour.

  17. Thank you so much for the pattern. I love the modern SW look! I sized it down to a large baby-sized quilt with 3" squares instead of 5". And because the Mom asked for colors of Sedona Arizona, I changed the colors up a lot. The black is reds, blues, orange, greens and the "highlights" are red and turquoise, instead of yellow. I used a strip of the pattern on the edge on the back to make "X's and O's" (or kisses and hugs) on the back so every time baby wraps up in it, she'll have kisses and hugs from her auntie. Thank you again for a LOVELY pattern.
